Show & Tell — the guiding theme of the 2019 annual student exhibition — invited students to not only present their work but to engage visitors in conversation, transforming the event into a dynamic and immersive experience. To bring this concept to life, a bold visual identity shaped the exhibition’s branding, marketing, and catalog design.

The motto "Making Wind" captured the spirit of stirring things up, making an impact, and drawing attention — a nod to the German expression of the same name. This idea rippled through every aspect of the event’s design, from banners and digital presence to the exhibition catalog itself. At its core, a newly created title illustration — two intertwining rings — visually reinforced the connection between showing and telling. Their fluid, wind-like motion breathed energy into the motif, embodying the essence of "Making Wind" in a striking and recognizable way.

This design language extended seamlessly into the catalog, weaving the same stylistic elements into student lists and imagery to maintain a cohesive look and feel. To create a clear distinction between bachelor's and master's exhibitions, the catalog unfolded in two contrasting sections: white for bachelor's graduates and black for master's graduates. This structured approach not only added visual clarity but also reinforced the exhibition’s identity.

Distributed throughout the exhibition, the catalog offered visitors a deeper look into the showcased works, serving as both a guide and a lasting representation of the event’s energy and vision.
